1. Provider and eligibility
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of TabTonic, including the browser extension, public website, account services, and optional paid cloud sync. TabTonic is provided by Unbound Innovations LLC.
By using TabTonic, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Service and accounts
TabTonic provides local browser-workspace management, import and export, recovery backups, and optional account and paid cloud-sync services. The public website provides product information, a synthetic demo, policies, and support guidance. It does not provide a separate account or checkout system.
If you create an account, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Keeping credentials and browser profiles secure
- Activity under the account
- Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access
3. Subscriptions and billing
Polar acts as merchant of record for Pro subscriptions. The approved launch offer is USD $2.99 per month or USD $29.99 per year. Each subscription includes a 14-day Pro trial, requires a payment card, and renews at the selected interval unless canceled before renewal.
Polar checkout shows the final price, currency, taxes, trial, recurring interval, and cancellation terms before purchase. Polar'sBuyer Terms also apply to checkout and payment processing.
- Active or trialing subscriptions receive Pro through the applicable entitlement cutoff.
- A past-due subscription may retain Pro for up to seven days from Polar's recorded transition so payment can be recovered.
- Canceled, unpaid, revoked, unrelated-product, missing, or expired entitlements return to local-only access. Existing local features continue.
- A temporary provider-verification issue may preserve otherwise valid active or trialing access for no more than 24 hours.
Checkout, subscription management, cancellation, taxes, and refund requests are handled through Polar and applicable law. Deleting a TabTonic account does not automatically create a refund. Pricing may change for a future billing period with notice where required.
4. Account deletion
Account deletion asks Polar to anonymize or delete the customer before deleting the Supabase account and cloud data. This order is intended to stop future billing before application data is removed.
A Polar failure leaves the TabTonic account intact so the operation can be retried. If cloud cleanup fails after Polar succeeds, billing has stopped and cleanup can be retried. Account deletion does not itself erase local extension storage or create a refund.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TabTonic for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Disrupt, overload, damage, or interfere with service operations
- Reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Use the service in a way that infringes another person's rights
6. Intellectual property
TabTonic, its branding, software, website content, and related materials are owned by Unbound Innovations LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TabTonic for its intended purpose.
7. Third-party services
TabTonic relies on third-party services including Supabase, Polar, and Sentry. Those services are subject to their own terms and policies. Browser stores and browser vendors also apply their own terms to their platforms.
TabTonic is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft.
8. Privacy and cloud retention
Use of TabTonic is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Cloud workspace data is retained while the TabTonic account exists, including when a subscription is paused, past due, canceled, or expired, so eligible cloud service can resume after resubscription. Account deletion removes cloud data through the documented deletion process. Local browser data is managed separately on the device.
9. Warranties, liability, and indemnity
TabTonic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unbound Innovations LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Total liability for claims related to TabTonic will not exceed the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unbound Innovations LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of TabTonic or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination and changes
You may stop using TabTonic at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, or where necessary to protect the service, users, rights, or legal compliance.
We may modify the service or these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide notice where required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue and jurisdiction are in Georgia, except where consumer law requires otherwise. Consumers may have additional rights under applicable law.
